well day 1 went well foot in the water at 530 started biking at 540 through vancouver before the traffic. it still was nerve racking with bus,s construction but made it through genny and i followed behind for the first 2 hours, got more relaxing on route 7 . ross had a little slip,tom had a flat tire . had lunch in a lovely bistro half way we are staying in Hope arrived at 140. Hope is beautiful mountains are all around us. the weather to start the day was good, 45 min in and the rain started lasted for 2 hours got a little better as the day progressed..
the men are feeling great nerve more today than a hard bike ride . tommorow is hard they have a long climb to Merrit. We are relaxing outside the sun peaks out every once in awhile and the view is unbelivable.

Hope is a great place. Notice where all of the forest fires were last year as you travel to Merrit. Tell Tom I wish I was with him BUT on my harley. Dalt
