Tom and Ross Bike Across Canada

Tom Bowes and Ross McLean plan on driving to Vancouver leaving Fri. May 28 from Perth. They then plan to start biking across Canada starting June 1 from Vancouver and finishing at St. Johns Newfoudland around July 12, give or take a few days. Ross is 65, a Doctor in Perth. Tom is 48, works for Hydro One. Their wives will be traveling with them in a van. Genny all the time, and Valerie half the time. They both stay fit as they x-country ski 40-50k on Saturday and Sunday in the Gatineau and racing in the Keskinada loppet. And of course they have been biking in preparation for their bike across Canada.

They have been talking about doing this for years, and the time has come. The idea is to promote fitness and keep your body and mind fit. And with that in mind we would appreciate it if you donated to Jump Start to help kids between four and eighteen participate in organized sports and recreation. All kids should have a chance to participate in sport and with the your help Jump Start will delivers support to children in financial need through a Canadian-wide network of local chapters. If you can contribute just follow the link. Jump Start
